Program

Tunis Airport / Sidi Bou Said / Hammamet (120 km)

Meet participants at Tunis Airport with our French-speaking guide.
Depart to explore the blue and white village of Sidi Bou Said.
Visit the UNESCO-listed archaeological site of Carthage (since 1979).
Continue to Hammamet for dinner and overnight stay.
Meals included: Dinner

Hammamet – Kairouan – Gafsa – Mides – Chebika – Tamaghza – Tozeur (350 km)

After breakfast, depart for Kairouan, a holy city and UNESCO World Heritage
Site (since 1988). Visit mosques (morning only).
Explore the Great Mosque, the Berber Mosque, and the water reservoirs.
Continue to Mides via Gafsa, followed by the Tamaghza waterfall and its beautiful palm groves.
End the day with a visit to the stunning Chebika Oasis.
Arrive in Tozeur for dinner and overnight stay.

Dinner and overnight stay in Douz.

Douz – Matmata – Gabes – El Jem – Sousse – Hammamet (520 km)

After breakfast, head to Matmata and visit the troglodyte houses.
Stop by the spice market in Gabes.
Continue to El Jem to explore the world’s second-largest colosseum (after
Rome), a UNESCO World Heritage Site (since 1979).
Visit the UNESCO-listed Medina of Sousse (since 1988) before arriving in
Hammamet.
