General Terms and Conditions of Sale
These general terms and conditions of use, which may be amended from time to time by specific conditions, apply to all our online services.
By accessing our website (even the mobile version) or any other application via a platform (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Platform"), and/or by making a reservation there, you declare that you have read these general terms and conditions of use and our privacy policy, understand their scope and accept them.
These pages, their content and infrastructure, as well as the online reservation service (including the facilitation of the payment service) provided by us via this website are provided and managed by Switch Corner for International Corporation (SCIC). They are made available to you solely for personal and non-commercial use (B2C & or B2B), which remains subject to the general terms and conditions of use set out below.
The general conditions of sale are governed by the decision of the Tunisian Ministry of Tourism of 09/08/2007 relating to the rules applicable to the exercise of travel agency activity via the Internet.
Definitions
"Switch Corner for International Corporation (SCIC)", is a travel agency; a limited liability company, its head office is at: 29 avenue des Nations Unies 8050 Hammamet. "Platform" means the website (mobile) and the application on which you can book a hotel, controlled, managed, powered and/or hosted by switchcorner.com.tn
"Hotel reservation" means the order, purchase, payment or reservation of a hotel.
1. Scope and definition of our service
Through this Platform, switchcorner.com.tn we provide an online portal through which we can advertise, promote, sell stays in hotels in Tunisia or trips or other services that are presented on our site and through which visitors to the Platform can consult, search or compare the products and services concerned and place an order, reserve or even make a purchase or payment for the chosen product. By using the Hotel Reservation Service (e.g. by making a Hotel Reservation), you enter into a direct contractual relationship with the service provider or hotelier with whom you have made a reservation or purchased a product or service, we always remain considered as intermediaries. From the moment you make a Hotel Reservation, we guarantee the information that is indicated and included on the voucher. The invoice for your stay is issued by Switch Corner for International Corporation (SCIC) on your behalf.
The information we communicate is based on the information given to us by our service providers. Although we strive to provide real information, we cannot verify or guarantee the accuracy, precision or completeness of the information, and we cannot be held responsible for any error or interruption of service (due to a technical failure, whether temporary and/or partial or whether it is a breakdown, repair, update, improvement or maintenance of our Platform or otherwise), any lack of service and quality of service, any imprecise, misleading or erroneous information, or any lack of information. The hotelier remains responsible at all times for the precise, complete and accurate nature of the (descriptive) information concerning him and which is displayed on our Platform, excluding rates/charges/prices,
Conditions and availability.
Our Platform does not constitute and should not be considered as any form of recommendation or approval of the quality, level of service, ranking or categorization (by star), of each provider.
1-1 Possession of rooms
In general, unless otherwise indicated on the hotel page, rooms are only available from 2 p.m. and must be vacated before 12 p.m. Single rooms generally include a single bed.
It is necessary to check the description of the rooms to have a clear idea of the level of comfort (family room, one room or two separate rooms, etc.)
1-2 Activities
The hotelier, for reasons of force majeure, hygiene, climate, stay outside the tourist season, or when the number of participants required to carry out the activity is not reached, reserves the right to cancel the activity. The cancellation of any activity will not in any case result in any compensation for the benefit of the User and does not engage the responsibility of Switch Corner for International Corporation (SCIC)
1-3 Food and drink service
The board, lodging and breakfast includes only breakfast at the restaurant
Half-board generally includes breakfast and dinner; Full-board includes breakfast, lunch and dinner; All-inclusive includes breakfast, lunch and dinner at the boarding restaurant, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at the boarding restaurant and at least a bar that serves drinks during a time slot set by the hotel according to its formula; Soft all-inclusive is the same formula as All-inclusive in terms of food but only includes non-alcoholic drinks.
Full-board and half-board begin with the meal preceding the first night and end with breakfast following the last night of accommodation. It is recalled that drinks are not included in the meals and are the responsibility of the User. In the absence of drinking water, the cost of purchasing bottles of water is the sole responsibility of the User. Parents are invited to bring with them food suitable for their baby, which they will not always find on site.
2. Rates, promotional rates
All rates displayed for your stay include VAT, and exclude tourist tax paid by the customer to the hotel directly,
Lower rates are sometimes available on our Platform on certain dates for a given stay, product or service. However, these lower rates offered by providers may be subject to specific conditions and restrictions, in particular with regard to cancellation and non-refund conditions. Please carefully review the information on the product, service or reservation concerned to be aware of these conditions before making your reservation.
Please note that the currency converter appears on our site for information purposes only. It is in no way representative of the exchange rates in effect at the time of booking.
Obvious errors (including typographical errors) are not binding and Switch Corner for International Corporation (SCIC) reserves the right to claim the price difference and correct the voucher.
3. Privacy Policy and Cookies
Switch Corner for Internationl Corporation (SCIC) respects your personal data.
5. Credit Card or Bank Transfer
Switch Corner for Internationl Corporation (SCIC) offers the possibility to pay for your booking; at the time of Booking using secure online payment methods (to the extent offered by your bank).
Payment is made securely from your credit/debit card or bank account, through a third party payment processor.
For certain (non-refundable) rates or special offers, please note that providers reserve the right to request advance payment of all or part of your stay cost by bank transfer (if available) or credit card.
6. Prepayment, Cancellation, No-Show and Important Information
By making a Reservation, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted the cancellation and no-show conditions for each provider and each offer, as well as any additional (service) conditions of said provider.
The specific cancellation and no-show conditions specific to each offer or provider and which are not identical to the general conditions of Switch Corner for International Corporation (SCIC) are indicated on the information pages of the provider of our Platform.
Please note that certain rates, fees or special offers do not allow you to cancel, modify the reservation or claim a refund. You are therefore invited to read the (reservation) details of the product or service of your choice, to be aware of the conditions before making your reservation.
You will be considered responsible for any late payment, any incorrect bank details, credit card or debit card
If you wish to consult, modify or cancel your Reservation, please contact our reservation service indicated on the voucher only.
Please note that any cancellation may result in fees, in accordance with the cancellation, (pre)payment and no-show conditions of the provider and that the (pre)paid amounts are not refunded, they will be charged to your Switch Corner for International Corporation (SCIC) account after deduction of the fees incurred and you can use it as an advance when making a new reservation within a period not exceeding 12 months. We advise you to read these cancellation, (pre)payment and no-show conditions carefully before making your reservation and making any future payments in the agreed deadlines for said reservation.
Switch Corner for International Corporation (SCIC) is not responsible for any consequences related to your late arrival or any cancellation or no-show charges made by the service provider in accordance with the conditions indicated on the voucher.
7. Correspondence and communications (future)
By making a Reservation, you agree to receive an email that we may send you before your arrival date at the establishment, which will contain information about your stay and an email that we may send you after the end of your stay at the establishment, and which will invite you to complete our guest feedback questionnaire.
In order to properly finalize and guarantee your Reservation, you are required to use your correct email address. We exclude all responsibility for (and are not required to verify) any email address, telephone number.
Any complaint or claim against the service provider must be declared during your stay or even upon arrival (please use only the customer service number and email address on the voucher), so that we can intervene with the service provider to resolve the problem, failing which we will assist you in finding another service provider at the same cost of stay, failing which we will ask you to pay the price difference. Any complaint or claim submitted after your stay may be rejected and the applicant may lose the right to demand compensation.
Due to regular updates and changes to rates and availability, the final confirmation of your reservation or the promotional rate is final only after receipt of your voucher following payment of the advance.
8. Ranking, Preferred Establishments partnership program, stars and customer reviews
We offer you by default a personalized ranking of providers in order to ensure that the search results you obtain on our Platform adapt to your needs. You can view this default ranking or change the presentation of the results by using filters and sorting according to different criteria. The default ranking is established according to many algorithms that are constantly evolving.
The number of stars of the establishment displayed on the site is not determined by Switch Corner for Internationl Corporation (SCIC). The number of stars is determined by the establishment itself or by an independent (objective) star provider. The offers appear in the order of the number of stars (ascending or descending order) proposed by Switch Corner for Internationl Corporation (SCIC). The stars are awarded by ONTT, or are based on the opinion of the establishments themselves, independently of any objective criteria. Switch Corner for Internationl Corporation (SCIC) does not impose any formal obligation regarding the number of stars it displays the number of Stars appearing on the contract between Switch Corner for Internationl Corporation (SCIC) and the hotel or service provider and does not verify this information.

9. Limitation of liability
In accordance with the limits established in these general conditions of use unless otherwise provided by national public policy, we can only be held liable if you have suffered direct damages that can be attributed to a failure of our obligations in the context of our services. These damages may amount to the cumulative amount of the total cost of your reservation, as indicated in the Reservation confirmation email.
10. Applicable laws, jurisdiction and dispute resolution
These general conditions of use and the provision of our services are subject to and governed by Tunisian law. Any dispute arising from these general conditions of use and our services must be submitted exclusively to the competent courts in Tunis, Tunisia. We recommend that you contact our Customer Service to report any complaints.
